AGREEMENT

• Adoption Babylink does not place children for adoption, but merely is a referral service to prospective adoptive parents. Adoption Babylink is not a licensed agency placing children or an adoption facilitator. All Available Situations presented by Adoption Babylink are referred to us from an adoption agency/attorney that is licensed to place children for adoption.
• Adoption Babylink does not work directly with birthmothers or advertise for birthmothers.
• Adoption Babylink does not provide legal advice. We recommend prospective adoptive parents obtain legal advice from professionals experienced in adoption within the state where the child is to be born and the state in which prospective adoptive parents reside.
• Adoption Babylink will only refer/release the prospective adoptive parents confidential information to the contacting adoption agency/attorney with their permission.
• Adoption Babylink does not discriminate however it does reserve the right to decline any prospective adoptive parents application.
• Adoption Babylink does not guarantee that a match will lead to a successful adoption.
• Once the prospective adoptive parents match with a birthmother from the contacting adoption agency/attorney, then the prospective adoptive parents become the clients of such adoption agency/attorney. All communication then occurs between the prospective adoptive parents and the adoption agency/attorney and no longer with prospective adoptive parents and Adoption Babylink.
• Adoption Babylink is paid a flat fee of $3500.00 immediately when the prospective adoptive parents are matched with a birthmother. These fees are NON REFUNDABLE. Adoption Babylink will roll-over the $3500.00 fee in the event a birthmother decides to parent. The prospective adoptive parents will not owe any additional fees to Adoption Babylink. Adoption Babylink will continue to present the prospective adoptive parents to any available situation until the prospective adoptive parents has had a successful placement.
• Adoption Babylink IS NOT responsible for any financial loss resulting in a failed or disrupted match. If the prospective adoptive parents causes the disruption of their adoption/placement by fault of their own, services provided by Adoption Babylink will be considered rendered and Adoption Babylink will no longer continue to work with the prospective adoptive parents on future available situations.
• Adoption Babylink DOES NOT have the authority nor control over the fees that adoption agencies/attorneys charge. Expenses will vary from situation to situation depending on the assistance the birthparents may need, current medical coverage of the birthmother, and other related expenses.
• Your submission of your birthmother profile book to Adoption Babylink indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Print the Adoption BabylinkAdoption Babylink Agreement, and sign, and fed ex it to Adoption Babylink with your birthmother profile book and your home study. Submit $3500 immediately if you choose to be a part of our PRIORITY PROGRAM.
• If the prospective adoptive parents are matched with a birthmother, are accepted by an agency, attorney, or facilitator, or are placed with a child due to work completed by Adoption Babylink, prospective adoptive parents must immediately submit the $3500 fee.
• PRIORITY PROGRAM: If you choose to join our priority program, the $3500 fee, birthmother profile book and home study will be due up front. The PRIORITY PROGRAM allows a limited number of prospective adoptive parents to receive information on birthmothers prior to them being posted on the Available Situations page.
• If a birthmother chooses to speak to or meet the prospective adoptive parents, after reviewing their birthmother profile book, the prospective adoptive parents MUST submit the $3500.00 Adoption Babylink fee as well as a signed and dated Adoption Babylink Agreement before having access to the birthmother.
• If the prospective adoptive parents and the birthmother do not mutually match within 72 hours, the fee may be refunded, OR you can elect to be placed in our PRIORITY PROGRAM.
• Adoption Babylink may obtain information about adoption situations from the referring adoption agency or lawyer assisting a birthmother concerning, but not limited to, medical, psychological, emotional, and social history, use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs, before and during pregnancy, financial status or needs etc., and any information about the alleged/presumed father(s). Adoption Babylink does not perform investigative services.
• Adoption Babylink cannot and does not guarantee that any circumstances whatsoever surrounding any adoption plan will remain the same during any time in the period of the adoption plan.
• Adoption Babylink makes no representation as to whether or not potential adoption situations will be available to present to the prospective adoptive parents in any exact given time frame, that prospective adoptive parents will be considered or selected by a birthmother, or that any proposed adoption plan will be entered into or complete successfully. Prospective adoptive parents understand that Adoption Babylink does not give any guarantee as to the final outcome of any given adoption plan.
• Adoption Babylink cannot and does not guarantee the physical, emotional, mental, or any condition of any child or children involved in any adoption.
